Scholarships

Each year the Foundation determines if it has proceeds that can be distributed per the bylaws of the Foundation, one of which is through scholarships.

Scholarships for 2024

For 2024, the Foundation is accepting applications for scholarships. Each applicant must meet the requirements specified in the application (and listed below) and submit all required documents with a post mark date no later than October 1, 2024. The full application can be downloaded below or by following this link. Currently, college or university study must be within the United States. Please note the Foundation is researching how to provide scholarships to those in Greece now that Greek banks will not honor US issued checks. More information will be provided on this topic shortly.

Scholarship Requirements

  • Students must be descendants of Arahova.

  • Students must have at least one parent that is a member in good standing with the Adelphotis Arahoviton Karyae (membership can be completed here).

  • Scholarships will be limited to four-year study at a university or community college.

  • Currently, study must be within the United States (the Foundation is researching how to provide scholarships to those in Greece now that Greek banks will not honor US issued checks).

  • Full completion of the application including submission of official certificate of enrollment verification from university/college.

  • Application and all required documents must be sent to the address stated below using a standard envelope that is postmarked no later than the due date (Oct 1). Do not send envelope with certification or signature requirements upon delivery because the PO Box will not allow this type of delivery method.
