Adelphotis News April 2024 - New Board & Upcoming Events
Dear fellow Arahovites and Arahovitises,
I hope everyone is well and I hope it has been a great start to 2024 for everyone. I am writing to you all on behalf of the Adelphotis Arahoviton Karyae organization in Gastonia, NC.
As of 2024, the Adelphotis has a new Board of Directors and I am humbled and honored to have been elected President of this great organization for the next two years. I have been working closely with the Board of Directors to develop a vision for the future of the Adelphotis. We are excited to build upon the momentum from last year's incredible centennial celebration.
As you'll see in the attached documents (below) outlining our goals and vision for the next two years, we aim to increase membership, plan great events for all ages, get our youth involved, and communicate effectively to grow the Adelphotis. There are multiple ways you can get involved and we need your help and talents to accomplish these goals. We believe that with your continued support and collaboration, we can achieve even greater things.
For now, please SAVE THE DATES for the following events that will take place at Karyae Park. We will be sending out more details about all upcoming events soon.
Annual Saint George Picnic and General Assembly - Saturday, May 11 (morning to early afternoon)
**Annual Panigiri - Saturday, June 22 (later afternoon into evening)**
Annual Panagias Picnic - Sunday, August 18 (morning to late afternoon)
**After the success of last year's 100-year celebration, we have decided to host an annual Panigiri at Karyae Park in June. This year's event will take place on Saturday June 22 with lots of dancing, food, a cash bar, and LIVE MUSIC by Endasi! Mark your calendars and get ready for yet another fantastic celebration.
