Annual St. George Picnic - Saturday, May 11 at Karyae Park
Hello All,
Our Annual Saint George Picnic will be held on Saturday, May 11th at Karyae Park. Flyer is attached. This year, we’ve chosen Saturday instead of Sunday due to the late Easter date (May 5th) and Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12th.
The day’s schedule is as follows:
10:30 AM: Divine Liturgy at the Panagia Chapel at Karyae Park
1:00 PM: Lunch in the Dining Hall. Food and drinks will be provided
$20 for Adults
$10 for Kids Under 10
Free for children under 5
As in previous years, we kindly request that you bring a dessert.
3:30 PM: General Assembly
Karyae Park hosts a Divine Liturgy one Saturday per month and we have decided to host May's service at 10:30 AM during our Saint George Picnic celebration. For those unable to attend the Divine Liturgy, lunch will be served at 1:00 PM.
We will have events for all ages, especially for the kids including sports equipment (basketball, soccer, spike ball), kite flying, and an Easter Egg Hunt!
At 3:30 PM, we will host our first General Assembly of 2024 detailing where the organization stands today and what are its future goals. An agenda will be emailed out a week before the assembly.
Also, please continue to SAVE THE DATE for our Annual Panigiri on June 22. Flyer is attached. It's going to be a great evening as we dance the night away to LIVE MUSIC by Endasi. More information will be sent in the coming weeks.
